GVS is a new advisory, investment and services business for the sports, leisure, media and entertainment sectors led by Simon Bazalgette and Paul Fisher, who over the last decade as Chairman and Chief Executive of Jockey Club Racecourses successfully led the growth and transformation of many of the UK’s leading events, including 3 of the UK’s top 10 sports events, and one of the top 5 live music promoters.
The GVS team leverages a strong network of industry-leading experts in Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Communications and Content, Sustainability, Diversity and Inclusion and Live Music, enabling GVS to be a “one-stop” solution for clients.
On the operational side of the sector, GVS draws upon long-standing relationships with the best-in-class venue service operators across Traffic Management, Cleaning, Ticketing (primary and secondary), Security, Stewarding and Temporary Event Structures to enable clients to enhance their businesses and events.
GVS has created a Global Advisory Board to bring further expertise to bear, with initial members including Trevor Watkins, Head of the Sports Practice at Pinsent Masons, and Bernard Kantor, a co-founder of Investec Bank.
