London, March 22, 2022 – viagogo, the leading global ticketing marketplace, has appointed GVS (Global Venue Services), the management consulting and investment services business, as strategic advisors in the UK.
GVS was launched in 2020 by its Chair, Simon Bazalgette, and CEO, Paul Fisher, who have an extensive and successful track record in the sports and music industries. The consultancy’s combined experience includes time at The Jockey Club, the UK’s largest racecourse group and one of the UK’s top concert promoters, which sells around two million tickets each year for horse racing and music events; the development of white label ticketing platforms; music management and consultancy, lifestyle and consumer brand communications and more.
The wide-ranging alliance includes strategic communications support with experienced marketeer Dan Tunna – who has delivered corporate and consumer campaigns for some of the world’s best-known sport and entertainment properties, personalities and events – part of the GVS team.
